Serving Men 17 years old and up who are entangled in the court system -

A Better Way Ministries is an 18-month residential program designed to evangelize men with life controlling issues and initiate the discipleship process to the point where the client can function as a Christian in society. Thereby, applying spiritually motivated biblical principles to relationship in the family, local church, chosen vocation, and the community.

A Better Way Ministries endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.

Our Program

Through repeated failures with drug and alcohol addiction and the development of destructive habits, these men have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, these fragile men must be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect.

The goal of the program is to identify men who are struggling with life controlling issues and offer a positive support system to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives.

A Better Way Ministries program accepts men from prisons and jails who are on probation or parole or are entangled in the court system. These men will participate in weekly classes and work activities to develop good work ethics. We are careful to complete monthly reports of their progress and forward these reports to their supervising officers.

ESSENTIALS

Clients must participate in Christian biblical practices and attend all Christian activities.

Any literature or practices of other religions are not allowed.

Men who require mental or psychological care are not permitted to enroll in the program.

We are not handicap accessible because living quarters are upstairs.

We also provide trade school classes, carpentry, masonry, and auto mechanic training.
